Rock Opera takes shape
Mid August and just about 4 months to go until the opening night of “The Flight of the Wren” We had a few meetings in July and early August to kickstart the project and decided to meet again around the first week of September when we will start rehearsals in earnest
I am now working on finishing the script. The first act is more or less complete and the second act is taking shape nicely. Marc is working hard on the music and has already been in the studio recording a guitar version of the first song – “A Beautiful Place”. I love what Marc has done with the song – it really is good. When we get the mix back we will post it somewhere on line as a taster.
We’ve got some fantastic performers and musicians involved already and there is still room for a couple more – so watch this (and other) space(s) for more info.
We’ve also set up a Facebook group for The Flight of the Wren and for Y Cardiff who are producing the opera.
